Mitch Pacwa Expelled From Society Of Jesus After Being Caught With Catechism

Popular television personality and speaker Fr. Mitch Pacwa has been expelled from the Society of Jesus after being caught in possession of a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church earlier this week, Jesuit officials are reporting.

According to Jesuit Superior General Arturo Sosa, Pacwa was seen in possession of the Catechism while travelling with fellow Jesuits.

Fr. Gerard Nunez immediately reported the “disturbing incident” to Society authorities after seeing Pacwa moving some clothes in his luggage to conceal the forbidden book. Camera monitors captured footage of Pacwa’s green Catechism, and was later called to testify in front of the Supreme and Fabulous Council of Jesuits where he confessed to carrying the book.

“He confessed immediately to having carried a copy of the Catechism,” Nunez told EOTT. “He’s an idiot in that way. That’s not something to be playing around with. The Catechism is like the Ouija Board for Jesuits. That’s to say that it’s of the devil and that we need stay clear of it. It’s not a game.”

Pacwa originally faced a penalty of ten consecutive viewings of Brokeback Mountain for having possession of the Catechism, which the Supreme and Fabulous Council of Jesuits called a slap on the wrist because Pacwa was “a bad, bad boy,” but was later expelled from the Society altogether.
