Popular television personality and speaker Fr. Mitch Pacwa has been expelled from the Society of Jesus after being caught in possession of a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church earlier this week, Jesuit officials are reporting.

According to Jesuit Superior General Arturo Sosa, Pacwa was seen in possession of the Catechism while travelling with fellow Jesuits.

Fr. Gerard Nunez immediately reported the “disturbing incident” to Society authorities after seeing Pacwa moving some clothes in his luggage to conceal the forbidden book. Camera monitors captured footage of Pacwa’s green Catechism, and was later called to testify in front of the Supreme and Fabulous Council of Jesuits where he confessed to carrying the book.

“He confessed immediately to having carried a copy of the Catechism,” Nunez told EOTT. “He’s an idiot in that way. That’s not something to be playing around with. The Catechism is like the Ouija Board for Jesuits. That’s to say that it’s of the devil and that we need stay clear of it. It’s not a game.”

Pacwa originally faced a penalty of ten consecutive viewings of Brokeback Mountain for having possession of the Catechism, which the Supreme and Fabulous Council of Jesuits called a slap on the wrist because Pacwa was “a bad, bad boy,” but was later expelled from the Society altogether.

Interesting fact: if I remember correctly Pacwa was in a priestly-preparatory highschool before joining the jesuits (yeah they used to let kids decide to be priests and go to special highschools for it), apparently it was the last of its kind before it closed. He is truly of the old Jesuit order, the kind that would translate aquinas into English and carry chatecisms!

    • Monk

Chatecisms! You wrote “chatecisms”. I’m intrigued. It sounds like a ritual way of freeing someone possessed by social media. I’m all for it.

      • HermitTalker

Monk, please stick to your prayers. Humour aint your shtick

      • William of Orange

I believe that because of how far they’ve drifted from Catholic orthodoxy, theirs is a called a catechasm.

        • peipappy

I thought theirs was called Cate-schism

      • Andrej

        Oh sorry, fixed that–

      • susanna

        lol

    • Good person Andrej; I have a sister who wanted to enter religious life with The Pallottine Sisters of the Catholic Apostolate {www.pallottinesisters.org/} and she to attended a Pallottine High School where she was groomed and at graduation https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d277798d40abcc318efba82db92464863a9aaa0975c3f5a83a53a9dddc1702b9.jpg went on to The Novitiate. This was/is a great concept. See below the founder of the Priestly and Sisters orders, Saint Vincent Pallotti.

    • Nancy Janzen

Actually he would probably read it fluently since he speaks 12 languages. You mean they didn’t catch him quizing Baby Boomer Catholics on question 2 of the Baltimore Catechism?

  • Michael Leggett

Supreme & Fabulous Council-Looks like they now operate from Ferndale, MI, a Fabulous Place.

I Do Not Know…. The ‘ Broke-back Mountain ‘ Thing, Should have been the Automatic Dismissal !!! ASAP !!! And Knowing quite a bit about The Jesuit Order… They Are The MOST Strict of ALL Catholic Priestly Orders !!! At Least The Old Order… I Know because Back in the Early 80’s This Was The Vocation, Which I Almost Joined !!! The Older Order Was Banned from ANY Formalities… Even The Bible Itself, for 3 or 4 years, As it is a Form Of Theology… Like The Elite of The Elite !!! Where You Must Never Allow ANY Influences – Past or Present Beliefs, Readings, Music. Movies Including Scripture , In This Way You Learn, from Ground Zero !!! In Essence, They Break Your Faith and Belief System and Structure of What You Did Believe, To Implant Only Faith Which The Order Wants You To Know…… Which, Seriously Soured in My Mind, Rather Quickly,,, I must Add !!! I Now, Knowing What I Do Now about The False Second Vatican Council And It’s Norvus Ordo Mass …As opposed to The Last True Council -‘ The Council of Trent ‘ – And It’s Perfect Mass and True Catholic Magisterial Teachings and Canon Law on Doctrine and Dogma, Therein !!! It Would Be Absolutely A Ludicrous Idea To Ever Want To Join Such An Order, As It Can and Was Used as a Weapon Against The Basic Fundamental Catholic Faith !!! As ROME Is NOW NO LONGER CATHOLIC !!! ROME CREATED A NEW FAITH……. A MAN CENTERED FAITH AS OPPOSED TO OUR GOD CENTERED FAITH AND CHURCH !!! ! A Little Known Fact About The Jesuit Society,….. When It Was ORIGINALLY Founded…. One Rule, Outstanding In The Order Was….. No Jesuit Would EVER BE ALLOWED To Become Pope !!! ” The Apple Does NOT Fall Far From The Tree ” !!! ! ALL Catholics Watch How Vatican II , Crafted by Satan, To Destroy Our Lord’s Church, Francis is Not Pope and Rome Is NOT Catholic ANYMORE Because of The Acceptance OF Vatican II !!! ……….. Vatican City, Rome is Now A LIE, Created of, for and by Satan !!! !
    <3 <3 Amen <3 <3 !!! !

I can’t understand why they would not let you be a priest.

    • HermitTalker

      You self-anointed know-nothing windbag

    • christopherschaefer

“The Last True Council -‘ The Council of Trent ‘ -”
I really need to do a better job of keeping up. I had no idea that sedevacantists have rolled the True Church all the way back to the 16th century. Didn’t the Protestant Reformers say the very same thing? I am SO totally confused…

      • VeilOfTiers

It was a typo. He meant the Council of Tent.

        • christopherschaefer

Is that the same thing as a Tent Revival?

    • AuthenticBioethics

How On Earth Can Anyone Take Seriously Someone Who Types In A Frenzy Using Title Case?!?!? It’s Unnatural, And It Makes My Pinky Hurt!

  • I always knew there was something a bit off about Fr. Mitch Pacwa….

  • AuthenticBioethics

I’m hoping Fr. Pacwa is relieved that he no longer has to be a living oxymoron (that is, a Catholic Jesuit). He can just be oxy and let those at the tail-end of the word go their own way.

    • HermitTalker

Toadlly Frog-ology. There are good orthodox Jesuits. Including Pope Francis who is dismissed as a socialist; Freemason; heretic by infallible morons

      • samton909

Let he who is without sin cast the first frog.

      • Carmen Garcia

Father Robert Spitzer, SJ rocks!!!! Faith and Reason

  • Noel Cuta

This is fake news. Thus, the argument in the said article is invalid from the beginning. Only brainless idiots will believe this posted article.

    • HermitTalker

Noel this site is for satire. Welcome aboard.

      • Priscilla Laliberte

Yes welcome aboard & hold on to the hand rails.

    • VeilOfTiers

Eye of the ato er has always been a satire site. It’s there at the bottom of the page. Only brainle…oh nevermind.

      • Priscilla Laliberte

        So true, lol.

      • christopherschaefer

I think you’re confused. That’s the Imprimatur & Nihil obstat at the bottom of the page.

        • VeilOfTiers

Ah, so christopherschaefer is a Jesuit!

      • HermitTalker

imprimatur and nihil obstat are for serious theology, not for satire and anti- Jesuit and anti-papal heretical stupidity. Heresy and schism are unwelcome in a genuinely satirical site. Start yourown or join Obama-Hillary anti- medieval Catholic reformation site

        • VeilOfTiers

I don’t see an imprimatur or Nihil Obstat for this site, nor did I mention one nor do I see the need for one.

I would love to see a link to a (Catholic) satire site that does not deal with heresy and schism and is still funny (and genuinely satirical).

          • christopherschaefer

In an interview a few years ago, this site’s author mentioned he wanted to create a Catholic version of ‘The Onion’, albeit without the obscenity, vulgarity, overt anti-Catholicism, etc. Well, OK so he did create a post about Jesuits, but I think that was just a slip up.

          • HermitTalker

Mentioning the Jesuits was not a slip-up. . Some topics give non-humour, non satire persons to slice, hack, destroy and vilify Jesus’ Body, the Church. You see, they cannot go on a hate site, because there is no one there to fight with. They are al moronic negative humourless souls.

    • samton909

      Thus.

  • Origen52

    Jesuits ony allow “kitten”chisms.

    • Priscilla Laliberte

      Good one Origen 52.

    • HermitTalker

Nope. DOMINI CANES, God’s Dogs, Dominicans are in charge of DOGMA not Jesuit Kitten chisms

      • Origen52

DOG🐶/MA That, Mx, is a speciest word.

        • HermitTalker

That made no sense to me. Priscilla applauded it. Please share your Gnostic insight with this totally loyal Catholic

  • honeybadger

    Hullo, Mitch!

  • Sr. Mary Brigid

Thank goodness they didn’t catch him genuflecting before the tabernacle…he’d have been ANATHEMA.

    • HermitTalker

Father Mitch is a profoundly loyal, highly educated linguist. More conservative than I am but we are both orthodox. Love his homilies. Guests on his EWTN programmes. . Too windy in his encyclical teaching. Advised him Jesuits do not sing well liturgically ! Some of you are so un-Catholic in your faith and knowledge of it. Keep learning and growing in His Love and faithfulness.

      • Sr. Mary Brigid

(You do know this is satire, right?) 🙂

        • Monk

HermitTalker seems to march to the beat of a different drum.

          • HermitTalker

Monk I contemplate daily and find myself at one with the Lord of the Universe . That way I avoid heresy, schism, and can help all humankind in the search for Eternal Bliss. And can write satirically. Heretics and wannabe infallible antipopes are so boringly dull.

        • HermitTalker

Yes Sister. But do you? Some heretics, schematics and renegade wanna be anti-pope Infallibilists seem not to. Satire is satire. Ex -Catholics usually get on Jesus sites and fire poison darts at us from their Ivory Tower Ignorance Turrets.

  • kamiller42

Well done. It would have been perfect if Nunez had taken the pope’s lead and used a creative name for “idiot.” Be inspired. http://popefrancisbookofinsults.blogspot.co.uk/

  • Rose Lincoln

I reckon Pope Francis was behind all this. Oh, who am I to judge!

  • susanna

As he left, Fr. Mitch promised to write an expose of the order, in many different languages. He said, “i’ll show you a book you will really fear.”
